报告摘要
The nucleon form factors (NFFs), which are defined as the coefficients of the two independent Dirac structures in the general form of the electromagnetic $\gamma N N$ vertex function, encapsulate the structure of the nucleon as seen by an electromagnetic probe. A renaissance of the NFFs studies in the 2000's was triggered by the emergence of the so-called proton radius puzzle, based on the precise measurement of the Lamb shift in muonic hydrogen, which led to the determination of the proton charge radius at an unprecedented precision, $r^P_E=0.8484(67)$~fm. This value differed by $5\sigma$ from the CODATA2008's value ($\simeq 0.88\,$fm), which was based on electron scattering experiments and measurements of the Lamb shift in ordinary hydrogen. This talk will introduce in detail the latest extraction of the proton charge radius from all the available elastic electron-proton scattering data collected until now by means of the dispersion theoretical approach and summary the current status on the proton charge radius.

林勇辉,现为波恩大学亥姆霍兹辐射与核物理研究所博士后。2015年于武汉大学物理科学与技术学院获得学士学位,2020年于中国科学院大学理论物理研究所获得博士学位,2020年至今为波恩大学博士后,先后从事核子电磁形状因子,强子分子态衰变等研究工作。
